- Choisissez une piqûre simple pour l'encadrement, ou un triple point. En tout cas, une couture droite et dans une couleur différente de celles de votre motif afin que la brodeuse marque bien un temps d'arrêt entre le motif et l'encadrement (vérifiez bien que l'encadrement sera cousu en dernier).
- Les plus aguerries pourront même couper une partie de l'encadrement pour laisser une petite ouverture dans la couture afin de permettre de retourner sur l'endroit le coussin.
- Ensuite brodez votre motif normalement.
- Une fois la broderie terminée, placez au-dessus (endroit contre endroit), sans le coller, le tissu qui sera sur l'arrière de votre coussin puis lancez la couture de l'encadrement en maintenant du bout des doigts le tissu (avec une vitesse de broderie pas trop rapide de façon à pouvoir bouger vos doigts si besoin en fonction du déplacement du cadre). Si vous souhaitez insérer un petit ruban pour pouvoir accrocher le coussin, ne mettez pas tout de suite le tissu de derrière, mais lancez une 1ère fois le contour. Avec du scotch, maintenez en place les extrêmités du ruban sur la couture supérieure aux emplacements souhaités puis mettez votre tissu et lancez une 2è fois la couture du contour. Votre ruban sera alors pris en sandwich entre les 2 morceaux de tissus.
- Retirez le cadre et vos tissus, déchirez le renfort de broderie puis à l'aide d'un découd-vite, pratiquez une petite ouverture dans la couture (sauf si vous aviez programmé avec le logiciel cette ouverture dès le départ, bien sûr!). Au besoin recoupez un peu les surplus de couture.
- Retournez le coussin sur l'endroit, garnissez-le de rembourrage et fermez à petits points l'ouverture.

- Après avoir sélectionné votre motif, allez chercher un motif d'encadrement parmi ceux proposés par votre brodeuse.
- Choisissez la couture la plus simple, à savoir pour ma machine le triple point.
- Réglez la taille de votre encadrement et assurez-vous qu'il sera bien brodé en dernier.
- Ensuite procédez comme avec un logiciel, mais dans ce cas, vous serez obligées de passer par l'étape "découd-vite" car vous ne pourrez pas programmer d'ouverture dans l'encadrement.
Bien sûr, ces 2 méthodes sont valables quelle que soit la forme souhaitée (rond, carré, rectangle, coeur...) et vous permettront de gagner quelques précieuses minutes, d'autant qu'une fois l'encadrement choisi et défini, vos prochaines réalisations seront encore plus rapides.
